About Cinerina

Born in Austin, Texas, Karina began her humble efforts in March, 1997 by emailing a bunch of friends after seeing the movie Liar Liar. A few of them said, “email me again when you see another movie,” and a few forwarded it to other friends, and then her empire was born. She joined the Online Film Critics Society in 1999. Their goal is to legitimize the red-headed stepchild that is online film criticism.

She has a background in English, community theatre, and much dabbling in many other things.

She is hosted by one of those original Liar Liar recipients, Shannon Swenson of StreamStudio.
